Girls just wanna have fun

Ah, this weekend was really great.Yesterday I wen't to the movies with a friend who I haven't seen in a while, and right after that (like,literally, I missed the first 5 minutes of the second movie,haha.).went straight into another movie with my cousins. One of whom I hadn't seen in a while either. It was really nice. Hopefully we have some time to catch up more in depth soon. :-P .Then today, I went to the mall with Melissa prime, Alyssa and Nicole..Wooo. Forget the show "I survived a japanese game show", give me "I survived the japanese photo booth" instead. But hey, the pictures did come out really good amidst the crazy countown and chaos. haha. The scissor finding adventure was also fun. Overall It was really nice seeing everyone again and It was one of the way better weekends I've had in a while. Hopefully there's more crazy adventures to come. Actually, I know there will be, haha. :-P

Wow. Three official weeks. Wooo. Okay, so basically I'm still in the process of adjusting to college life. Not that thats bad or anything. It takes time. So the other day I was walking to class, and tthat particular day I was kind of at a brisk pace to make it on time. So here I am, walking with my big warm StonyBrook sweatshirt, trudging through the puddleds(its a cold drizzly day), and I turn to my left. Out of nowhere comes this girl in shorts and 3 inch spike high heels SPRINTING down the plaza to class. SPRINTING. I was teetering on struggling with my powerwalk (with my backpack and everything.), but this girl left me in the dust.Haha. Sprinting.In heels. Go figure. I dont know who she was, but I applaud her dedication to punctuality. Haha.

Hangin' Tough

Ahh, TWO WEEKS of college so far. Wow. I'm glad the weekend came when it did. I really needed it. This past week has left me pretty wiped out. I've been getting alot of work, especially in Chem, but I have to remember that It will pay off in the long run. Hopefully this weekend I can get a jump on work that way I won't be swamped during the week and I can get some rest. Anyway, today is dad's Brithday!. Happy birthday Daddy!. I have to pick up the cake later-Half Cannoli/Half Strawberry filling with Whipped Cream-Yummmm......

Hungry Like the Wolf

I survived my first week of college!. Wow,I can't believe i actually said that. Today marks the close of a very busy day, and an even busier week. For the most part, my first official college week went well. I got a jump on my homework assignments, which is always good haha. I'm really getting used to the campus now. Yesterday I had a break inbetween classes and the weather was sunny so I sat outside on a bench by the water fountain and read. It was nice. It's totally different feeling from the hustle of high school trying to get to class in 4minutes dodging the traffic jams in the hallway. (With the exception of one point in my schedule where I have 10 minutes to power-walk my butt onto the other side of campus to get to class on time,haha.) .So you could say I'm getting quite the workout.Haha. Excerise is always good though. Let's see...what else has been going on with me. Ah,I had the first commuter student association on Weds, which was interesting. We voted on the drive in movie thats going to happen in september. After the meeting there was some kind of free Barbeque going on outside in the plaza, and the line was so long!. So I figured, hey, okay. I'm going to go get a hamburger. So i wait on the line, and by the time I get up there, the guy goes "sorry,we're all out of burgers, we only have hotdogs left.". The irony.Haha. So I got my hotdog and went to class. Hm. Well, I have No class on monday!. So it will be nice to have a three day weekend needless to say. Ah, time to relax.
